Hypralane

Terms of Service

Read this first. Hypralane provides a booking platform. The independently identified Transport Provider undertakes the journey. Before you pay, the Booking Summary must identify that Provider and show the journey, full price and cancellation terms. These Terms govern Hypralane’s booking service; the Provider is responsible for the transport service, subject in every case to non-excludable law. A contract label cannot displace duties imposed on Hypralane by the law applicable to a particular booking.

1. Meaning and scope

  1. “Hypralane” means the operator of www.hypralane.com as identified in the legal notice accessible from the Platform. “Platform” means that website and any related booking interface operated under the Hypralane name. “Booking Service” means making the Platform available, displaying an authorised offer from a Transport Provider, transmitting and recording a reservation, administering that reservation and, where offered, collecting its payment on the Provider’s behalf.
  2. "Transport Provider” or “Provider” means the independent professional identified by its legal identity in the Booking Summary as the contractual principal responsible for the ride. It may be a licensed transport business or, where local law requires, the licensed operator that accepts the booking and undertakes the ride. A driver who performs the trip for the Provider is not necessarily the Transport Provider. “Transport Service” means the ride or chauffeur service promised by the Provider.
  3. "Customer” means the person placing the booking; “Passenger” means a person travelling under it. A Customer acting for other Passengers must give them the practical trip information and must have authority to book for them. “Consumer” means a Customer acting mainly outside that Customer’s trade, business or profession.
  4. “Booking Summary” means the final pre-payment order screen, including any clearly displayed, booking-specific conditions. “Booking Confirmation” means the durable confirmation sent after the Provider has accepted the booking. “Booking” means a confirmed reservation with an identified Provider.
  5. These Terms govern standalone bookings for private passenger transport. If an order is legally a package or linked travel arrangement, any applicable mandatory travel rules and the specific terms required for that product prevail. A listing or quotation invites a Booking request; it does not guarantee availability.

2. Two distinct contractual relationships

  1. The Customer contracts with Hypralane for the Booking Service. Separately, the Customer contracts with the named Transport Provider for the Transport Service when that Provider accepts the booking. The Provider, rather than Hypralane, promises to supply the vehicle, driver and journey, unless mandatory law assigns an additional obligation to Hypralane.
  2. For a Booking made on the Platform, the Provider authorises Hypralane, as its disclosed limited agent, to communicate its offer, record acceptance under its authority, administer the reservation and, if shown at checkout, collect its fare. Hypralane must obtain that actual authority before offering a Booking; these Terms cannot create authority that the Provider has not granted. This limited agency does not make Hypralane the seller or reseller of the ride. The Provider remains responsible for the content of its transport offer and for performance.
  3. The Provider is responsible for selecting, engaging and supervising its drivers; providing and maintaining lawful, roadworthy vehicles, required safety equipment and insurance; controlling dispatch and the journey; and meeting the transport, safety, accessibility and passenger-care duties applicable to the Transport Service. The Provider must give passengers reasonable safety instructions and respond appropriately to incidents. Hypralane may check eligibility, show service categories and assist with support. Booking and support functions do not, by themselves, transfer the Provider’s operational duties to Hypralane. This allocation remains subject to section 2.4 and any duty imposed directly on Hypralane by law.
  4. Nothing in these Terms limits any legal duty or liability that mandatory law imposes directly on Hypralane, including a duty arising from its actual role as a booking centre, transport operator, travel seller or organiser. Where the intermediary structure described here is not permitted for a particular service, that service must be offered under a lawful, accurately disclosed structure before any booking is accepted.

3. Information before payment

  1. Before a Customer is bound to pay, the Booking Summary must show the pickup and destination or hourly scope; local date and time, including the time zone where material; the vehicle category and passenger capacity; included luggage and waiting time; the full amount payable and currency, including mandatory taxes and charges; any separately itemised Hypralane Booking Service fee; and a clear reference to the cancellation and no-show rules in these Terms and any booking-specific variation.
  2. The Booking Summary must also identify material limitations and any Provider terms that will apply to the ride. Only Provider terms made accessible before payment and expressly accepted as part of the order apply; hidden or later-supplied terms do not change a confirmed Booking. If a booking-specific condition conflicts with these Terms on the Booking Service, these Terms govern that service. Mandatory law takes precedence in all cases.
  3. Customers must check the details and correct mistakes before placing an order. A payment button must clearly indicate that the order creates an obligation to pay. The Booking Confirmation will repeat the agreed service, price and cancellation rules. The Platform’s legal notice provides Hypralane’s legally required identity and contact information separately from these Terms.

4. Accounts and eligible use

  1. A Customer must be at least 18 and legally able to contract, provide accurate contact, flight and passenger details, and promptly correct information that changes. The Customer is responsible for activity under an account unless caused by Hypralane’s security failure. Hypralane may verify information reasonably needed to prevent fraud or meet legal duties.
  2. The Platform may be used only for genuine, lawful reservations. Hypralane may refuse an unconfirmed request, suspend an account for fraud, abuse or a serious security risk, and cancel an affected Booking only on a lawful ground and with any refund required by these Terms or mandatory law. Restrictions will be proportionate and communicated where lawful and reasonably possible.

5. Request, acceptance and confirmation

  1. Submitting the final order is a request to book the identified Provider on the displayed terms. A Booking exists only when that Provider accepts it, including where Hypralane issues an immediate confirmation under prior, express authority from that Provider. An acknowledgement that a request was received, or a payment authorisation, is not by itself acceptance.
  2. If the Provider does not accept, no Transport Service contract is formed. Any payment merely authorised will be released, or any amount captured will be refunded to the original payment method without avoidable delay. If the advertised Provider or essential terms must change before acceptance, the Customer must see and accept the revised Booking Summary before becoming bound.
  3. The Booking Confirmation is evidence of the two contractual relationships stated in section 2. If it contains an error, the Customer should report it promptly. An error in confirmation does not silently authorise a price, Provider, route or vehicle category that the Customer did not accept.

6. Fares, taxes and additional amounts

  1. The Booking Summary shows the total amount payable for the specified service, including mandatory charges known at checkout. It identifies the Provider’s fare and any separate Hypralane fee. The Provider authorises the fare and any pricing method used to display it. Hypralane may calculate or present a quotation on the Provider’s instructions but does not unilaterally amend an accepted Provider fare.
  2. The displayed fare covers only the agreed route, duration, vehicle category, passenger and luggage allowance, and included waiting time. A change requested by the Customer, extra stop, extra waiting time, toll or parking charge may be charged only if the charge or calculation method was disclosed before the Booking or the Customer agrees to a quoted additional amount before it is incurred, except a charge required by mandatory law. No change to the agreed fare takes effect merely because a driver asks for it.
  3. Payment-card issuer charges, foreign-exchange charges and taxes imposed directly on the Customer by that issuer are outside Hypralane’s control. Tips are voluntary and are never required to complete a Booking. Any tax invoice for the Transport Service must correctly identify its supplier; a payment receipt or Hypralane booking receipt does not, by itself, make Hypralane the transport supplier.

7. Payment and collection

  1. The Booking Summary states when and how payment is due and whether a pre-authorisation is taken. Where Hypralane accepts the Provider’s fare, it does so as that Provider’s disclosed collection agent under section 2.2; payment to the authorised agent discharges the Customer’s payment obligation to the Provider for the amount received. Any separately itemised Hypralane fee is payable to Hypralane for the Booking Service.
  2. Hypralane may use payment service providers and may cancel an unconfirmed request if payment cannot be authorised. After confirmation, any cancellation for failed payment requires reasonable notice and an opportunity to correct the problem where practicable, without limiting action against fraud. Hypralane does not impose a fee for a genuine charge dispute; payment rights under applicable law remain available.
  3. A refund owed under these Terms is returned to the original payment method unless the Customer agrees otherwise or the law requires another method. Hypralane may administer a refund as the Provider’s agent, without converting the Transport Service into Hypralane’s own supply.

8. Transport performance and substitutions

  1. The Provider must perform the confirmed Transport Service in compliance with the laws of the place of operation, using appropriately authorised and competent drivers and lawful, roadworthy vehicles with the insurance and safety equipment required there. The Provider is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle, the driver’s conduct, passenger handling and safe pickup and drop-off, subject to applicable law. The Provider determines the safe, lawful route and journey operations. A vehicle category is guaranteed only to the extent stated in the Booking Summary; a particular make, model, driver or journey duration is not promised unless expressly confirmed.
  2. A Provider may replace a driver or vehicle with one that lawfully meets the same confirmed category and capacity. A material downgrade, different Provider, materially different price or materially changed pickup arrangement requires the Customer’s prior informed agreement. If the Customer does not agree, the affected Booking may be cancelled with a full refund of all amounts paid for that Booking, without prejudice to any further remedy required by law.
  3. The Provider is responsible for meeting passengers and for performance updates. Arrival times may be affected by traffic, security, weather, border controls and other conditions, but neither the Provider nor Hypralane may use an estimate to evade an express guarantee or non-excludable passenger right.

9. Customer changes and cancellations

  1. A request to change a pickup time, address, flight, number of passengers, vehicle category or route is not effective until the Provider accepts it and the Customer accepts any disclosed change in price or cancellation conditions. If the Provider cannot accept the change, the existing Booking remains in force unless cancelled under the applicable cancellation policy.
  2. If the Customer cancels at least 8 days before the scheduled pickup time, the Customer receives a full refund of all amounts paid for the Booking. If the Customer cancels less than 8 days before the scheduled pickup time, no refund is due. A proved Customer no-show is treated separately and incurs a charge of 100% of the Booking price. No undisclosed or legally disproportionate charge is payable, and mandatory legal rights prevail.
  3. The cancellation time is when the cancellation is submitted through the Platform’s designated booking channel and acknowledged electronically, or when it reaches the other cancellation contact expressly stated in the Booking Confirmation. The local time at the pickup location applies. If electronic acknowledgement fails, the Customer may show when notice was sent. A Provider’s failure, a material change under section 8.2 or a legal entitlement to cancel overrides a Customer cancellation charge.
  4. If mandatory law grants a separate withdrawal right in relation to the Booking Service, that right applies on its statutory conditions. Nothing here asserts that all passenger transport bookings carry a general cooling-off period or that all Booking Services are automatically exempt from one.

10. Provider cancellation, delay and no-show

  1. If the Provider cancels or cannot perform the agreed service, the Customer may accept a clearly described replacement offered on lawful terms or cancel the affected Booking for a full refund of all amounts paid for that Booking, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. This does not limit damages or other remedies required by applicable law. Hypralane will use reasonable care to transmit the problem and administer the booking response within its Booking Service role.
  2. The Customer should use the support and Provider contact shown in the Booking Confirmation if the driver has not arrived. A Provider no-show or a material failure to arrive is not a Customer no-show. The Customer must allow a reasonable opportunity to locate the vehicle, unless waiting would be unsafe or contrary to a mandatory right. If the Provider has not provided the service and cannot provide a reasonable replacement, section 10.1 applies, including its full-refund rule.
  3. A Customer or Passenger is a no-show only if the Provider attends the agreed lawful pickup point at the agreed time, remains for the full included waiting period, makes the agreed reasonable contact attempts using the details supplied, and the Passenger does not appear. The Provider must be able to provide reasonable evidence of those steps. A no-show charge does not apply if the absence was caused by the Provider’s material failure or where applicable law prohibits the charge.

11. Pickup, waiting and flights

  1. The Booking Summary determines the pickup location, time and included waiting period. Where it states no waiting period, 15 minutes is included after the confirmed pickup time for a non-airport pickup, and 60 minutes after the confirmed pickup time for an airport arrival. Where the Booking Summary expressly includes flight tracking for a valid flight number, the airport waiting period instead runs for 60 minutes from actual landing. Any extra waiting charge must satisfy section 6.2.
  2. A flight number is used only if it was supplied accurately and flight tracking was expressly included. Flight data may be incomplete or delayed. The Customer must communicate a cancellation, replacement flight or material itinerary change through the booking channel as soon as known. A delayed flight does not automatically amend the Booking unless the Provider confirms a revised pickup arrangement or the Booking Summary expressly provides for it.
  3. The Customer must provide a reachable phone number and follow reasonable meeting instructions in the Booking Confirmation. The Provider must provide a reasonably identifiable meeting point and contact route. Neither party should rely on an informal message that contradicts the confirmed booking without mutual agreement.

12. Passengers, accessibility and safe travel

  1. The Customer must state the number of passengers, ages where relevant to child-restraint rules, essential accessibility requirements, and luggage that exceeds the disclosed allowance before payment. A request for an accessible vehicle, additional assistance, child seat or ordinary pet carriage is confirmed only when the Booking Summary or Booking Confirmation expressly includes it. An assistance animal protected by law is not treated as an optional pet. Hypralane and the Provider must comply with applicable duties of reasonable accommodation and non-discrimination regardless of this booking process.
  2. The Provider may refuse or stop carriage where required by law or reasonably necessary to address a concrete safety risk, unlawful conduct, violence, material vehicle damage, an excess of lawful capacity or prohibited items. It must not use this clause to avoid a legal accessibility or passenger-protection duty. A charge for a service refused because of the Provider’s own failure is not payable; other cancellation consequences depend on the proved facts, the disclosed terms and mandatory law.
  3. A responsible adult must accompany a minor where local law or the disclosed Provider policy requires it. Passengers must remain seated and use seat belts while the vehicle is moving; follow lawful safety instructions; not distract or interfere with the driver or vehicle controls; and avoid conduct that endangers anyone. A Passenger must not open a door or leave the vehicle during the journey, including by jumping from it, and may leave only after it has stopped in a safe place, unless an emergency requires otherwise. The Customer must communicate these requirements to any Passengers for whom the Customer booked. Each Customer or Passenger is responsible, to the extent established under applicable law, for injury, loss or damage caused or contributed to by that person’s wrongful or negligent act or omission. The Customer is responsible for another Passenger’s conduct only to the extent applicable law so provides. Ordinary wear is excluded. Nothing in this clause reduces the Provider’s duty to operate and stop the vehicle safely or limits any non-excludable right or liability.

13. Luggage, property and third-party services

  1. The confirmed vehicle category and allowance determine the included luggage. The Provider may refuse luggage that cannot be safely or lawfully carried. Valuables, passports, travel documents and essential medication should remain under the Passenger’s supervision where feasible. Claims for loss of or damage to property are governed by the Transport Service contract and mandatory law; nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited.
  2. The Provider is responsible for any transport subcontractor or driver it lawfully uses, to the extent required by its contract and applicable law. Airports, roads, airlines and other services remain independently operated. A connection or arrival deadline is not guaranteed unless expressly undertaken in the Booking Summary, without prejudice to liability that law imposes for a proven breach.

14. Events outside reasonable control

  1. A party affected by an event beyond its reasonable control must promptly tell the other party when practicable, take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and resume performance when possible. Traffic that is ordinary for the route, insufficient vehicles, staffing gaps and predictable seasonal demand are not automatically events outside reasonable control.
  2. An affected obligation is suspended only to the extent and for the time the event prevents performance. If the essential journey can no longer be performed, the Customer may cancel the unperformed part. If the Provider cancels or cannot perform, section 10.1 applies; if the Customer elects to cancel, the refund is determined under section 9.2, in each case subject to any greater right required by mandatory law. This section does not override statutory passenger rights or excuse a party’s independent failure to take reasonable precautions.

15. Complaints and refunds

  1. The Customer may contact Hypralane using the contact details in the legal notice or Booking Confirmation. Hypralane will address complaints about its Booking Service and forward transport complaints promptly to the identified Provider; it may coordinate the response without replacing the Provider as the transport principal. Emergency or safety concerns should be reported to the appropriate local services immediately.
  2. The Customer should provide the booking reference and reasonably available evidence. Prompt reporting assists investigation, but failure to report within a stated period does not extinguish a non-excludable claim. Where Hypralane holds a refundable amount as collection agent, it will process the undisputed refund without avoidable delay and help resolve any disputed Provider refund.
  3. No provision limits a Customer’s ability to contact a regulator, exercise a payment right, or use a court or other legally available redress process. A voluntary attempt to resolve a complaint does not require the Customer to waive legal rights.

16. Hypralane responsibilities and liability

  1. Hypralane must provide its Booking Service with the care and skill required by applicable law. It is responsible for its own acts and omissions in that service, including inaccurate booking records, unauthorised changes and payment or refund administration. Merely providing the Platform, transmitting a Booking or giving booking support does not mean that Hypralane operates or controls the vehicle, directs the driver or manages the Provider’s on-trip performance. The Provider is responsible for performing the Transport Service under its separate contract, subject to section 2.4 and applicable law.
  2. Nothing excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any statutory liability that cannot be excluded or limited. In particular, an obligation imposed on Hypralane by a mandatory rule governing booking centres, transport operators or travel sellers remains effective even where a Provider drives the vehicle.
  3. For a Consumer, Hypralane is responsible for loss caused by its breach of the Booking Service contract where that loss was a foreseeable result of the breach or was otherwise recoverable under mandatory law. A loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence or was contemplated when the Booking was made. Hypralane is not responsible for injury, death, loss or damage arising from the driving, condition or operation of a vehicle, the conduct of a driver, passenger handling or another aspect of the Transport Service to the extent caused by the Provider or a Passenger and not by Hypralane’s own act or omission. Hypralane does not accept liability for the Provider’s independent breach solely because a Booking was made through the Platform. Nothing in this section excludes or restricts liability for Hypralane’s own breach or negligence, any duty imposed directly on Hypralane by law, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
  4. For a Customer acting wholly in business, and only so far as law permits, Hypralane is not liable for lost profit, revenue, business or goodwill arising from a breach of the Booking Service contract. Its aggregate contractual liability for that Booking Service in respect of one Booking is limited to the greater of GBP 250 and the Hypralane Booking Service fee actually paid for that Booking. This business-only limit does not apply to the liabilities preserved by section 16.2 or to any liability that law does not permit Hypralane to limit.

17. Privacy and Platform use

  1. Personal information needed to arrange a Booking may be shared with the identified Provider and necessary service providers for booking, payment, safety and legal compliance. The Platform’s privacy notice explains the relevant uses, lawful bases, retention and data rights. The Provider may have its own legal duties for passenger data. These Terms are not consent to unrelated marketing.
  2. Hypralane retains rights in the Platform and its content. The Customer receives a personal, limited right to use it for lawful bookings. The Customer must not interfere with its security, scrape it at a rate that disrupts service, or use it to submit fraudulent bookings. These restrictions do not prevent the exercise of legal rights.

18. Changes to these Terms and termination

  1. The version accepted when an order is placed applies to that Booking. Hypralane may publish a later version for future orders, identifying its effective date. A later version does not retroactively alter an accepted Booking or remove an accrued right. A materially adverse change to an ongoing account service will be notified as required by law.
  2. A Customer may stop using the Platform and request account closure through the contact route in the legal notice. Closure does not erase a confirmed Booking, an outstanding lawful payment or a record that must be retained by law. Hypralane may end an account for a material breach after reasonable notice where practicable, subject to existing Bookings and non-excludable rights.

19. Governing law and disputes

  1. The contract for Hypralane’s Booking Service is governed by the law of England and Wales. That choice does not deprive a Consumer of mandatory protection available under the law applicable without this choice. It does not purport to choose the law of the separate Transport Service contract, override mandatory rules of the place where the ride occurs, or determine a regulator’s classification of Hypralane’s activities.
  2. A Consumer may bring a claim in any court available under mandatory jurisdiction rules; nothing in these Terms requires a Consumer to sue only in England and Wales. For a Customer acting wholly in business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes concerning the Booking Service, unless mandatory law requires another forum. Disputes under the Provider’s Transport Service contract follow the law and courts applicable to that contract.
  3. Before litigation, either party may propose a good-faith attempt to resolve a dispute through the contact route in the legal notice. Participation is voluntary unless applicable law requires another procedure. No mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these Terms.

20. General provisions and contact

  1. If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent it is lawful; the remaining provisions continue where they can operate fairly and coherently. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. Headings aid reading and do not change the meaning of the operative text.
  2. Hypralane may transfer the Booking Service contract only where the transfer does not reduce a Consumer’s legal rights and any required notice or consent is given. The Customer may not transfer a Booking to another person without the Provider’s prior agreement where identity or safety requirements make consent necessary. The Provider’s own obligations remain those of the Provider unless a lawful, disclosed substitution is accepted.
  3. For questions, cancellations and complaints, use the booking support route shown in the Booking Confirmation or the contact details in the legal notice at www.Hypralane.com. For urgent journey issues, use the Provider contact shown in the Booking Confirmation. The legal notice and pre-payment Booking Summary supply identification and transaction details that cannot be replaced by the Hypralane brand name alone.
